Latrobe Business & Professional Women is where women come together to learn, lead, and lift each other up. Whether you’re building your career, running your own business, or enjoying retirement, this is a place to stay inspired, stay involved, and stay connected.
We’re not your average club. We’re a mix of professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, healthcare workers, creatives, and community leaders who believe in the power of women supporting women. Our members come from every stage of life and every kind of background—but we share one thing: the drive to make things better, for ourselves and for others.
Founded in 1929, Latrobe BPW has grown into one of the largest local clubs in Pennsylvania with more than 100 members. We’re known for our energy, our generosity, and our willingness to jump in where we’re needed. You’ll see us mentoring young women, raising scholarship funds, organizing community projects, promoting women-owned businesses, and advocating for equality in the workplace.
We believe growth doesn’t stop when you leave the office. It happens through new experiences, new friendships, and the confidence that comes from trying something different. BPW gives you space to do all of that—with people who get it.

Our motto, “To achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information” epitomizes our theme for 2025-2026 – Believe in the Possibilities. Many years ago there were very few possibilities for women, and those that stepped out, well, they were frowned upon.
We have come so far from those days, and it’s thanks to organizations such as the Business and Professional Women. The possibilities for women now are endless, in business, family, ministry, career, in a variety of fields of study, not to talk about social acceptance. What is your possibility? What is something you’ve been wanting to do for some time but have held back because you thought it wasn’t a possibility?
Imagine the possibilities for the young women we present with scholarships each year!. How far can they go? Think along the lines of medical research, space exploration, or engineering, to name but a few!
Latrobe BPW is way more than a women’s networking group. It is a true sisterhood of like-minded women who are there to support other women, both within the group and in the community. The fellowship between the women of the group is phenomenal! No matter if you are a member or not, you know someone will reach out with assistance or guidance. Through community involvement, volunteering, fundraising activities and charitable donations, we strive to give back to the women of Latrobe, Derry and Unity Township area, an area that we call home!
